France repeats commitment to secularity of European integration - London says Constitution should not enter into force unless ratified by all

Brussels, 26/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - The French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin said on Wednesday that there was "no consensus" between the Member States of the EU on the need to go further than the Preamble to the European Constitution as proposed by the Convention, and include in it an explicit reference to Christianity.
