26/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Damiano Cunego, 22, from Verona has won the "Tour pour l'Europe prize awarded by the European Parliament bureau in Italy. This prize is awarded to cyclists aged under 25 who receive the best rankings in the each stage of the Tour d'Italie race. A press statement from the European Parliament announed that the young man was in sixth place in the general "Maillot Rose" shirt classification.
