French agriculture minister says Commission has gone too far in making export subsidy concessions

Killarney, 10/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Running the risk of making the EU lose credibility at the WTO, France came out on Monday in opposition to the offer made by European Commissioners Lamy and Fischler to their WTO counterparts to scrap all types of farm export subsidies in order to breath new life into the Doha Development Agenda negotiations (see above).
