As foreseen, SABMILLER has answered the alliance between HARBIN BREWERY and ANHEUSER-BUSCH by making a hostile bid of $3.04 billion from Hong Kong on the Chinese brewery, at the price of HK$4.30 per share. See EI of 5 May.
