ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) credit

SOCIETE GENERALE (France) is to acquire, for the sum of EUR 160 million, from SCH (Spain), the leasing and invoicing activities of the Norwegian company ELCON FINANS. Two hundred employees and EUR 1.5 billion are involved. Furthermore, the French group is to create, in Bulgaria, a leasing firm via its local subsidiary EXPRESSBANK.
