07/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - The meeting in Luxembourg on Wednesday between Luxembourg prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker and the General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) John Monks (see EUROPE of 5 May, p.17), allowed social priorities to be determined for the Luxembourg Presidency of the EU, which starts on 1 January 2005.
