ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) investments

- China: direct investment from abroad in China grew by 10.3% in January and February 2004, to USD 8.3 bn, indicating a rise compared to 2003, announced the Chinese minister of trade. Investment commitments rose to USD 19.1 bn during the first two months of 2004, indicating a 34.5% rise compared to the same period last year.
