Discharge is finally given to Committee of the Regions

Brussels, 29/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - 318 votes 153 against and 5 abstentions, the European Parliament finally decided on Thursday in Brussels to give the Committee of the Regions a discharge for the execution of its budget for 2001. In April 2003 the Parliament had postponed its decision due to reservations of the financial controller on the subject of external meeting expenses, daily and travelling expenses (EUROPE 9 April 2003).
