The leading British food retailers TESCO has acquired the neighbourhood convenience store ADMINSTORE for the sum of $53.7 million. If competition authorities approve the operation, TESCO will have 45 small shops in London, under the names "Europa", "Harts" and "Cullens" (a turnover of £72.8 million for the financial period 2001-2002).
