Inspection on Friday of Russian oil tanker, Geroi Sevastopolya

Bruxelles, 04/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - A team of inspectors from the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) was expected on Friday morning in the port of Ventspils (Latvia) to inspect the Russian oil tanker, Geroi Sevastopolya, which entered the Latvian port on Wednesday to load 50,000 tonnes of fuel oil destined for Singapore (EUROPE of 3 December, p.11).
