EU and Mercosur seek solution to reconcile bilateral and multilateral negotiations in agriculture and complete free trade agreement in October 2004

Brussels, 13/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Union and Mercosur have agreed to seek a "shrewd" solution concerning agriculture in the context of the negotiation of an association and free trade agreement, Pascal Lamy, Trade Commissioner, said on Wednesday.
