Italian presidency to withdraw all references to dismantlement funds in "nuclear package"

Brussels, 04/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - A new compromise version by the Italian Presidency on the "nuclear package" is currently being analysed by the "Atomic Questions" group at the Council. This compromise involves the draft direction on nuclear installation safety (the other proposal from the package involves radioactive waste management) particularly the funds necessary for dismantling nuclear plants.
