09/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is reported to have refused to extend the time allowed for Microsoft to answer its objections, the Dow Jones Newswire states. Microsoft, which must provide the Commission with a written answer on 17 October, had requested another two months in which to do so. The Commission did not comment on the information.
