06/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - Following the filing of a complaint, the European Commission has pointed out that it may reopen its inquiry on the diamond distribution system established by De Beers, that it had authorised in January 2003. The complaints comes from the Belgian company, IDH Diamonds, which denounces the fact that, in Belgium, one third of the contracts have not been renewed by the South African company.
