25/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European university institute of Florence announces its programme of doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships for 2004-2005 in the following matters: economy, history, law, political and social science. The institute, which is headed by Yves Mény, notes that over twenty years of experience have lead to a structured approach that is unique in its kind aimed at allowing a doctorate thesis recognised at international level to be completed in four years. The final date for doctorate fellowships is 15 January 2004, and that for Jean Monnet grants 25 October 2003. We recall that the Florence Institute houses the Robert Schuman advanced studies centre headed by Helen Wallace, who took over this post from Yves Mény.
