EU Command Element at Afsouth

Brussels, 01/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - In the context of the "Berlin Plus" agreement, a SHAPE press statement has indicated that, "the EU Command Element at NATO (EUCE) (for the first European military mission, 'Concordia', in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), has been formed at the NATO Regional Headquarters, AFSOUTH in Naples". The EUCE in Naples includes military personnel from Member States of the European Union overseeing operational issues related to the peacekeeping mission...
