Brussels, 30/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - As announced in our 26 July issue (p 3), the United Nations Security Council has appointed Harri Holkeri from Finland as the Head of the United nations mission in Kosovo (MINUK). The former Finnish Prime Minister and former President of the UN General Assembly, will take over from Michaele Steiner from Germany, who has held the post in Kosovo for a year and a half and who left on 8 July.
