ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

Steel company ARCELOR has signed a deal with Chinese manufacturer BAO STEEL to set up a joint venture to manufacture tailor-moulded blanks for automobile manufacture. The joint venture will supply its raw materials from BAO STEEL and top of the range technology from ARCELOR. The unit will have annual production capacity of 2 million units.
