Porto Carras, 20/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Council restated its deep concern about the continuing violence between Israelis and Palestinians. It recalls that there is no alternative to the Road Map established by the Quartet. It calls upon Hamas to immediately declare a ceasefire and on Israel to abstain from any punitive measures and to put an end to its policy of colonisation and the seizure of territory.
