Tricky debate on financial solidarity between States on immigration and borders post 2006

Luxembourg, 06/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Member States are still a long way from agreeing on sharing the burden of border control and fighting illegal immigration. The Greek Presidency is lobbying hard for this scheme, which it considers highly important, and is optimistic on the results of the Thessaloniki Council.
