Brussels, 28/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Danish MEP, Jens-Peter Bonde (JuniB) has declared in a press statement that the draft Constitution is going to destroy national parliamentary democray in Europe, "This draft Constitution aims at total centralisation in Brussels. Among its many anti-democratic proposals: the EU will have legal personality and its laws will have primacy over national law; and Member States will be obliged to support Brussels foreign policy under the direction of an appointed Foreign Minister". Mr Bonde also added that, "Of course we cannot be surprised that draft Constitution promotes an anti-democratic structure when we recall that the Convention itself operates through anti-democratic practices"
