28/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The German economy is capable of facing the consequences of a rise in the Euro in the currency markets, assured on Wednesday the country's Minister for the Economy, Wolfgang Clément. He stated that he had received the assurance that the United States did not seek to push down the Dollar. Moreover, Mr Clément foresees a recovery in German growth in the second half of the year, followed by an acceleration of economic activity in 2004.
