20/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Taking the lead of its rapporteur, Astrid Lulling (EPP, Luxembourg), the European Parliament has approved the common position on transmission of the main aggregates of national accounts and employment data in hours worked. The regulation aims principally to reduce the time-scale for transmission of aggregates, and to abrogate Member States' derogations.
