13/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - British Conservative MEP James Elles called on President Cox to include on the agenda of this week's Conference of Presidents the despatch of a delegation from the European Parliament to Kashmir. India and Pakistan now seem ready to make an effort to put an end to their dispute, and, according to James Elles, the European Union may "invent something similar" at the Quartet on the Middle East, in order to try to contribute to a solution.
