ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) fibres

Italian SNIA is to sell its cellulose fibres division to the BEMBERG group. The operation concerns a 50% stake in NOVACETA (the remaining 50% belong to AKZO NOBEL), and a 100% stake in NUOVA RAYON. The turnover of the former was 76 million Euros in 2002, the latter's around 30 million Euros.
