ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) vehicle construction

Financier Robert Colaninno's company IMMSI has signed an exclusive agreement with DEUTSCHE BANK with a view to taking control of PIAGGIO (makers of "Vespa" scooters), to the tune of 30%. PIAGGIO achieved a turnover of 950 million Euros in 2002, against debts in the region of 600 million Euros. The businessman is negotiating a capital increase between 100 and 150 million Euros.
