Parliament likely to focus new foot and mouth measures on emergency vaccinations

Brussels, 09/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - In all likelihood, the European Parliament will support the main aspects of the new directive of measures to combat foot and mouth disease (see Europe of 19 December 2002) when it adopts the report by Wolfgang Kreissel-Dörfker (PES, Germany) in Strasbourg on Thursday.
