Council to take stock of European industrial policy, ITER thermonuclear reactor and EU arms policy

Brussels, 09/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Competitiveness Council is expected to adopt a series of conclusions on industrial policy and innovation as well as on EU arms policy and space policy. It is also to take stock of the international thermonuclear reactor project, ITER.

Industrial policy: The Council is to adopt conclusions on industrial policy in the enlarged Europe on the basis of the Commission's Communication of last December (see EUROPE of 16/17 December 2002, p.12...
