Commission on Tuesday to propose reduction of Member States' contributions to current budget by 6.4bn Euros

Brussels, 08/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Tuesday, the European Commission is to adopt preliminary draft supplementary and amending budget (SAB) no. 3/2003, which will be presented by Commissioner Michaele Schreyer, and which concerns the 2002 surplus, totalling 7.4 billion Euros.
