16/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, Belgium decided to take temporary protection measures against bird flu, since the discovery of a case displaying symptoms of this epizooty. On the same day the Federal Agency (Belgium) for Safety of the Food Chain. Belgium has therefore decided to impose an embargo on the sending of live chickens and hatching eggs to EU Member States and third countries, as well as the transport of birds and the transportation of live poultry and hatching eggs....
