16/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner for trade, Pascal Lamy, and the US representative for trade, Robert Zoellick, met in Brussels on Tuesday and Wednesday for a comprehensive look at the ongoing multilateral Doha Agenda negotiations. Without entering into any detail about the conversation, the spokesman for Mr Lamy declared that this was not a negotiation meeting but brainstorming exercise carried out in calm surrounding. Messrs. Lamy and Zoellick looked at each and every one of the points of the agreement and disagreement on the different negotiation chapters: agriculture, services, access to medicines, development, "Singapore Agenda".
