15/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - During the Council on Monday in Luxembourg, the CFSP High Representative Javier Solana admitted that he was "worried" by the threat of possible US reprisals against Syria. He informed Ministers that in the current situation, "it would be preferable to make constructive proposals for calming tensions". Several participants also launched appeals for moderation, notably Joschka Fischer and Dominique de Villepin.
