ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) privatisation

- Turkey: Russian group TNK has demonstrated an interest in taking part in the privatisation of the oil refinery products sector in the country. Turkey is currently collecting bids for the sale of the public petroleum company PETKIM. It also intends to launch an appeal for tenders at the end of May for TUPRAS, the largest refinery in the country. The government is hoping that its privatisation programme will bring in USD 4 bn.
