Pascal Lamy in Laos for meeting of ASEAN Economy Ministers

Brussels, 27/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Trade, Pascal Lamy, will be returning to south-east Asia from 31 March to 5 April. He will be visiting Thailand, Malaysia and then Laos, where he will be taking part in a meeting of Asean Economy and Trade Ministers.

In this region, which is "so important for the EU at all levels: bilaterally, regionally and multilaterally- I intend to have fruitful discussions on talks underway at the World Trade Organisation on the Doha...
