EIB will finance Kinnegad-Kilcock motorway bypass, in Ireland

Brussels, 25/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will grant a maximum loan of EUR 30 million for the design, construction and operation of a 39km motorway bypass (N4/M4) between the city of Kilcock and the town of Kinnegad, where the N4 and N6 roads meet. This project will allow for the elimination of a bottleneck on this east-west axis of great strategic importance, which forms part of the Transeuropean road networks (TRN).
