06/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The ULB's European Research Institute and the Service fédéral belge de la Justice are organising a seminar on the European Penal Area and the World on 17/18 March. The first day will focus on enlargement, and the second on the EU's external relations in penal affairs. The Belgian justice minister Marc Verwilghen will open the seminar, and the closing address will be given by Commissioner Antonio Vitorino.
