Brussels, 27/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The inter-Parliamentary work group on immigration set up by the Euro-Mediterranean Forum will be meeting in Brussels on 4 February. The Forum consists of the European Parliament, representatives from elected assemblies from the Member States and different Mediterranean countries. The theme of the meeting is: "Immigration and Human Exchange" and is expected to examine progress in this area within the different countries involved since the fourth session of the Forum, in Bari in June 2002. An information exchange for focusing on legislative aspects is also planned. The select workgroup's conclusions will be submitted to a fifth Forum session next March in Crete.
