27/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is organising a conference in Brussels on 30/31 January on sustainable development for developing countries and the opportunities provided by life sciences and biotechnology. It will be addressed by Commissioners Philippe Busquin (Research) and Poul Nielson (Development), as well as by scientists and representatives of civil society and developing countries.
