30/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will be lending EUR 50 million to HAC (the state-owned Croatian motorway company) for upgrading the motorway located in the X and Xa pan-European corridors. The motorway links Croatia to Western Europe and Austria to Northern Slovenia and Greece via Serbia and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in the south. The project was developed in close cooperation with the EBRD, which is putting up EUR 46.5 million.
