Duisenberg opens way to possible cut in interest rates

Brussels, 03/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Noting that inflationary tendencies in the euro zone were waning and that the risks weighing on growth persisted, the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Wim Duisenberg opened the way, Tuesday, to a possible cut in the ECB's interest rates.
