Loan of EUR 138 million for new tramway in Tenerife

Luxembourg, 22/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - In November, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted the Metropolitano de Tenerife S. A. company a loan of EUR 138 million to fund the new light tram metro in Tenerife. The project forms part of a special territorial plan for the metropolitan region of Tenerife (the promoter for the project is "Cabildo Insualr de Tenerife").
