EUR 50 million loan to Poland

Luxembourg, 19/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has granted overall loans of EUR 50 million to Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A. and Raffeisen-Leasing Polska S.A.. These loans are essentially aimed at funding small and medium sized projects linked to environment protection, energy saving, infrastructures (particularly in health and education), industry, culture, services and tourism in Poland.
