ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) agrichemicals

BAYER CROPSCIENCE, subsidiary of Germany's BAYER, has sold some of its insecticides and fungicides to competitor BASF for EUR 1.18 bn. The products in question generated a total turnover of around EUR 500 million last year. The deal responds to competition authority conditions for authorising BAYER's buy-up of AVENTIS CROPSCIENCE.
