Guidelines on financial information and company accounts -state of play on dangerous substances

Brussels, 02/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - As well as previous decisions presented in our former issues (see EUROPE 30 September/1 October pp 9-10 and 2 October pp 12-13), the "Competitiveness Council" has defined a number of "general guidelines" on company law and reviews the following subjects:

Company disclosure requirements: the Council has agreed on a general approach on the directive on disclosure requirements for certain types of companies. It has called on the Presidency to forward this...
