01/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - Indian Prime Minister Attal Vajpayee met a delegation of the European Parliament's Socialist Group which, led by Enrique Baron, is on a visit to India. Mr. Baron and his colleagues (Max van den Berg, Jannis Sakellariou, Maria Carillho and Neena Gill) stressed the importance of relations between the EU and India, including their parliamentary dimension, in view of the EU/India Summit scheduled for Copenhagen next week.
