Brussels, 01/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - During a lunch organised by the European Policy Centre on the theme "The Middle East at a Crossroads: an Israeli Assessment", the Israeli Ambassador with the EU, Harry Kney-Tal (who is preparing to leave Brussels to join the Ministry), said he was relatively optimistic about the medium and long term outlook for the Middle East but was "not at all optimistic" about the short term.
