Mario Monti prepares to ask details of German authorities on aid to MobilCom

Brussels, 17/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European commissioner responsible for competition, Mario Monti, expressed his intention in Copenhagen on Tuesday of sending a letter to the German Government to ask it to communicate details on the 400 million euro loan that Berlin decided to grant MobilCom through two State-owned banks (see yesterday's EUROPE page 14).
