16/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Enrique Baron, President of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament said in a press release that the victory of the Social-Democrat Prime Minister Goran Persson in the 15 September elections was of great importance "for all Europe". The arrival to power of rightist parties had thus been slowed down, and we hope that this tendency will be confirmed at the forthcoming elections in Germany, Greece and Austria, says the Spanish Socialist.
