Latest US list will now exempt 50% of EU steel exports from safeguard measures

Brussels, 23/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Friday the Commission welcomed the US announcement on Thursday of a seventh and final list of 178 products to be excluded from safeguard measures that the US decided to apply to steel imports, despite the World Trade Organisation's ruling.
