Walter Schwimmer proposes exceptional aid to flood victims

Strasbourg, 21/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - Council of Europe Secretary General Walter Schwimmer expressed his solidarity with the people affected by, "unprecedented flooding in the heart of Europe". He explained how European organisations had to measure the full magnitude of the disaster and take exceptional measures.
